Why Choose Vinyl Plank Flooring?

How We Handle Vinyl Plank Flooring Installation

Site Assessment and Quote

We visit your site to measure and check floor conditions. We assess moisture levels, slab condition and floor levelling needs. You get a clear, upfront fixed price quote detailing exactly what is required, no hidden extra cost, unlike most flooring shops that sell you the flooring but exclude all floor prep and then charge you a fortune after you sign the contract for floor preparation.

Vinyl Plank Installation

Once the surface preparation has been completed, we install vinyl planks using commercial grade vinyl adhesive, we do not install DIY hybrid or click-lock systems as they are prone to failover time and will create mould if the floor is saturated, only glue down vinyl plank flooring is watertight and secure and the results are seamless and it lasts forever.

Floor Levelling and Moisture Control

Every vinyl floor needs a level base. We use polymer-modified self-levelling cement or engineered screeds to fix dips and uneven slabs. Commercial grade Light Weight Screed ensures your floor stays flat and lasts forever and our epoxy moisture barriers will prevent rising damp lifting the floor.

Old Floor Uplift and Disposal

We can remove and dispose of your existing flooring if required, depending on the flooring type we will advise you on what you can expect.

Damp-Proof Membrane Installation

We install epoxy damp-proof membranes to protect your vinyl flooring from rising moisture. This step is critical on ground floors or older slabs where rising damp is noticeable. Damp Proof membrane ensures your new vinyl floor doesn't lift, curl, or fail.

Acoustic Floor Systems

For multi-level buildings, we install acoustic floor systems beneath the vinyl planks. This reduces sound between floors and improve comfort underfoot.

Used in:

  • Apartments and duplexes

  • Upstairs rooms and hallways

  • Commercial offices in shared buildings

Acoustic floors are especially helpful where hard floors are replacing carpet and sound transfer needs to be reduced.

Why Choose Screedflow Australia for Vinyl Flooring?

At Screedflow Australia, we take care of everything, from start to finish. We begin with a free on-site measure and check your floor for unevenness, moisture, and cracks. If Light Weight Floor Levelling is needed, we install self-levelling cement or engineered screeds. We also apply damp-proof membranes when required to stop rising moisture.

Once the surface is ready, we install vinyl plank flooring with clean, precise cuts and clean up before we leave. • How long does epoxy flooring last?
With proper care, our epoxy floors last over 10 years, even in high-traffic areas like garages and warehouses.
  • Can epoxy be installed over old concrete?
Yes, we prepare and repair old concrete before applying epoxy, ensuring a smooth, durable surface that bonds properly.
  • Is epoxy flooring slippery when wet?
We offer slip-resistant additives and textures to make epoxy flooring safe, even in wet or busy environments.
  • How soon can I use the floor after installation?
Most epoxy floors cure within 24 to 48 hours. You can walk or drive on them shortly after.
  • Does epoxy flooring crack or peel?
No, not if installed correctly. Moisture is the biggest issue that causes epoxy to fail, using high quality commercial epoxy as well as proper preparation will prevent failure.
  • Is epoxy flooring hard to clean?
Not at all. Just sweep and mop. Epoxy is non-porous, so it doesn’t trap dirt, oil, or moisture.
